We’re thrilled to announce that as of 1 November 2024, Fynn Studio will officially be rebranded as Studio Alora under the new ownership of sisters Grace Van Tonder and Monique Van Heerden.

With years of experience in the industry, a deep passion for creativity, and a shared vision for innovation, Grace and Monique are excited to bring a fresh perspective to the studio, while continuing the legacy of excellence.

Grace and Monique are eager to take this new step, as they aim to redefine the studio experience with a focus on light, innovation, and creativity.

The name Alora carries a special meaning: it reflects the beauty of light and the power of dreams, making it the perfect symbol of their vision.

Meet the Sisters Behind Studio Alora: Grace Van Tonder & Monique Van Heerden

Grace Van Tonder

After having spent several years as Operations Manager at Fynn Studio and Robyn Davie Photography, Grace is eager to dive in!

With a background in operations management and extensive experience running a successful creative studio, Grace brings a wealth of expertise in ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

With a strong background in photographic editing and operational efficiency, she brings a blend of creativity and strategic oversight to every project she leads, always maintaining a balance between operational functionality and artistic vision. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for supporting clients, Grace’s leadership is what keeps the heart of Studio Alora beating.

Her past experience in managing Fynn Studio, which she now takes over and rebrands, makes her the ideal person to guide this new venture forward with confidence and purpose.

Monique Van Heerden

Monique, owner and photographer of Monique van Heerden Photography with over 20 years of expertise in photography, complements the team with her artistic vision and creative spirit.

A gifted photographer and designer, Monique has a deep passion for visual storytelling. With a keen eye for detail and a love for capturing the beauty of the world, her work reflects her belief in the power of creativity to inspire and uplift.

Monique’s artistic background will play a pivotal role in shaping the look, feel, and soul of Studio Alora as it steps into this new era.
